SLOVENIAN TEAMS WON THE TITLES IN BOTH CATEGORIES OF THIS YEAR’S 13TH EDITION OF THE UMAG OPEN 2023. – MOK Umag

13. UMAG OPEN – – 21.01.2023.

After a two-year delay due to the pandemic (coronavirus), another tournament organized by our club MOK UMAG-CPM UMAGO has ended.
A big thank’s goes first to all the participants of the tournament, who, with their presence, once again like in all previous years, gave special significance to this tournament of ours. We are grateful for the great turnout, which continues to confirm the quality of the tournament. We had the opportunity to watch top volleyball in all categories, and were able to enjoy excellent matches. We are very pleased that more and more teams from some countries are registering, which only tells us about the correct conception of the tournament in which everyone can play, both young and old.
A big thank you goes to all the members of the MOK UMAG-CPM UMAGO and to the club management, who once again confirmed that regardless of the interruption, they did not give up on this tournament (one of the largest in Central Europe). Likewise, special thanks and special congratulations go to all the volunteers who, like every previous year, were there, ready to help and work, so that the tournament would go smoothly.
Thanks also go to all sponsors, and to the city of Umag and its departments that provided support and made the event possible.
We hope that next year we will be able to exceed the record number of teams from 2020 when there were 57 teams from 5 countries, which we are deeply convinced of.

This year, 49 teams in 4 categories from 3 countries, Slovenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Croatia, took part, and the following teams by category made it to the finals:

MALE UNDER 40
