Beach volleyball is one of the most popular and attractive sports of the Olympic family, and Umag is known in Croatia as a pioneer in this sport.
After several years of work and commitment with young people and seniors, and after becoming national champions with cadets in 2019 and Croatian vice-champions with juniors, from the 2021 season the MOK UMAG-CPM UMAGO has the senior team in the 1st Croatian league of beach volleyball, as our city deserves, given the history of beach volleyball in Umag and Croatia.
In their first season, 2021, they achieved great success, finishing the season in 4th place (out of 8 teams) and almost qlasified in 3rd place.
But as a club we are very satisfied with the result, especially since in the first season the backbone of the team was mainly made up of boys from our club and several experienced players from the friendly Slovenian club SIP Šempeter, with whom we have been collaborating for many years.
This is all part of the club's long-term project and we are proud of what we have achieved.
