In accordance with the instructions of the national civil protection headquarters, with the aim of preventing the spread of COVID-19 viruses and responsibility towards others, the board of directors of the Croatian Volleyball Association (HOS), in today’s session , has decided to suspend all league competitions in the men’s and women’s competition and concluded club rankings based on the current status.
Therefore, for the third time in 5 years of competition, the MOK UMAG-CPM UMAGO has won the title of champion of the 2 national league west seniores. Congratulations to the boys and the coach for this exceptional new result.
Although this result is unfortunately also the result of the current emergency in the world caused by the coronavirus pandemic, so the title was assigned based on the current state at the desk, (although before the end we had + 8 points, 2 rounds to finish) does not detract nothing from this young team and this generation. With their play and dedication, they have proven to be a great generation, in front of which there is certainly a good future and many good moments and results.
In this way, I would like to congratulate once again personally and on behalf of the club management, with all the boys and the coach for the result. I would also like to thank our two experienced players, Ivica Ico Radocaj and Abdel Zolota, who were with the boys and supported them throughout the season.
The celebration is postponed for another occasion when this emergency is over. Until then, pay attention and stick to the instructions of civil protection personnel, and act accordingly, protecting your health and of others.
