HISTORICAL RESULT OF YOUNG CADETS OF MOK UMAG-CPM AT THE FINALS OF THE CROATIAN NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP IN ROVINJ
At the National Championship for Young Cadets, which took place in Rovinj from 11 to 13. May, the young cadets of MOK UMAG-CPM UMAGO, have achieved a historical result for our club and the city of Umag. This was the first and historic show of a generation of young volleyball players in the final of the Croatian national championship. Already only qualifying in the final as second in the region, our guys have achieved a fantastic result in a short time from the club’s existence and since the boys train less than two years.
The boys have conquered the 10th place in Croatia, which is more than an excellent result. This was an opportunity to expand their knowledge, and to meet the boys of their generation and had the opportunity to play against teams with more experience. In any case, our guys have shown that they can compare with everyone, and in less than two years have made huge progress and have learned a lot, and all thanks to the dedicated work and training under the guidance of our coach, Dragan Salapura .
In this way I want to congratulate the boys and the coach on the result achieved in my personal name and on behalf of the club.
Also a big “thank you” to the parents who have helped us these three days without hesitation in organizing the transport every day in Rovinj, to have allowed the boys to participate in the championship because we have not been able to pay as a club the accommodation in Rovinj. Thank you with all my heart.
For the MOK UMAG-CPM UMAGO the first time in history the following players participated in the national championship finals: Daniel Kremer, Alex Četojević, Gabriel Nadal.
