Today, Sunday 3 February 2019, in the Gimnassium gym in Rovinj, starting from 16:00, has been held the third round of the inter-regional junior championship.
After a bad start in the first two rounds of the Junior League, played in Fiume (Kozala) and Umago, our juniors showed this Sunday that it was only an isolated case. Although they have played against more experienced teams, MOK Rijeka and OK Rovigno, who have had the experience of playing these types of championships, our boys today have played on an equal footing, having shown, which has already been seen in previous games, an improvement in game, and was no lack and a bit of sporting fortune and concentration in the final match. In the third set of the second game, the opposite Leo Savić has injuryed, and our new member Matteo Saina (who has been with us for 2 months) had to take over and played a very good game.
In any case, congratulations to the boys, because they have shown that they can play on a par with teams with more experience, and it’s only a matter of time when they win victories in such matches.
Congratulations to the boys and the coach.
