Last weekend, 17 and 18.07. the 2nd round of the 1st league of the Croatian beach volleyball championship for seniors took place on the fields of Podstrana (ST).
This weekend MOK UMAG-CPM UMAGO performed with the following couples:
1st couple: Borut Markovic / Jernej Vrhunc
2nd couple: Luka Burić / Leo Savić
We can be more than satisfied with the performance of both of our couples. The result was like our hopes before the trip to Split.
On the first day our boys recorded 2 wins and 2 defeats, even if in the first match played by Markovic / Vrhunc they lacked a bit of luck, as the match was lost in the third set with 17:15, against the team KOP Žnjan. Our other couple lost 2-0. But in the afternoon, against the team KOP ŽAL Banjole, there were two victories, with the first match of the couple Burić / Savic, against Bljaić / Radolović, played under a real storm, and our boys played fantastic.
On the second day, Sunday, against KOP Zagreb, there was a defeat and a victory.
Congratulations to the guys for their hard work and dedication and a great result. We can say that we are growing from game to game.
Preparations now follow for the 3rd round, which will be played on 31.07. and 01.08. in Pula on the Valkane field.
