MOK „UMAG“-CPM „UMAGO“ : OK „GORNJA VEŽICA“ RIJEKA 0:3 (24:26, 21:25, 15:25)
Today, Saturday 27 February, starting at 18, in the gym of the Marija i Line Elementary School, took place the 3rd round of the 2nd national league, between the hosts, the team MOK UMAG-CPM UMAGO and the team of the OK GORNJA VEŽICA from Rijeka.
After last week’s trip to Rijeka, this week the boys performed at home, and due to the situation, unfortunately, whitout audience.
This year, the team is performing very rejuvenated, which is why our young boy’s had the opportunity, to compete with a more experienced opponent.
Our players today showed exceptional will and commitment from the start of the match. The whole first set erred in the lead until the result of 24:21 for our boys, but then they lacked a bit of concentration and a bit of luck.
The second set started with a little too much caution which the opponent took advantage of, but our boys return in the game until the score of 15:16, but in the end there was still a little lack of concentration and the opponent closes the set in his favor.
In the third set the guests drive from the start and close the set in their favor.
Great progress has been seen this week, since the last match in Rijeka, and we can certainly be more than satisfied and happy for the boys, who have shown great will and fighting spirit. There are still a few games left, but it is certain that this team still has space for improvement, so the results will not be lacking.
