Yestarday 19.12. at 7 pm, was held a meeting of the members of the senior men’s volleyball team Club MOK UMAG-CPM UMAGO, with the club’s management, and various guests, for the end of 2018.
On this occasion, the club president gave a short speech and commented on the work in the past year, which was very successful and was excellent in terms of results and in terms of joining of new youths club members, which demonstrates the correctness of the club’s decision which is mainly geared towards working with young people without whom there is no future.
In particular, he thanked the coach, Dragan Salapura, who with his valuable work, experience and knowledge, contributes to the development and expansion of the base, with quality work with young people, which is an important factor for the future.
This 2018 the MOK Umag-CPM Umago has won for the second time the title of champion of the 2 HOL west for the season 2017/18, won the Croatian Cup for the western region, has qualified for the 1/8 finals of the Croatian Cup, the young cadets after being second in the Western region, qualified for the finals of the Croatian championship where they were placed in tenth place, and with this a new page was written in the club’s history.
In short, we can say that 2018 was the most prolific year in the club’s 7-year history and will remain written as such.
After donating the club’s calendar to all its members and guests, the president wished everyone a Merry Christmas and a happy New Year 2019.
