At the initiative of MOK UMAG-CPM UMAGO, today volunteers and volleyball players, members of MOK Umag-CPM Umago, members of OK Umag-CP Umago, together with sympathizers, friends of clubs and parents, participated in Eco Cleanup of the City Beach Vila Rita and in cooperation with city company Komunela doo, which provided the necessary tool, turistic board of Umag and city of Umag.
Given that after ATP and various events held during the summer at this location, and the massive mass of people gathered there all night, it was decided that the action would try to cleanse the beach as much as possible from various chimps, pieces of glass, and various other waste, which is otherwise difficult to remove from normal cleaning activities.
The action involved 40 people, active members of clubs (administrations, players, coaches), parents, children, sympathizers, friends of clubs and volunteers who support such actions.
Approximately 300 kg of various trash was collected.
We are thrilled by the responsiveness and awareness of a large number of people and children who, without thinking, joined the action and contributed to its success.
